Fandroids is a community site for enthusiasts of the software platform and operating system created for mobile devices called Android. Android was initially developed by Google and later by the Open Handset Alliance.  Android is based on the Linux kernel.

The goal of this site is to provide a common gathering area for all things Android. This includes news, user driven support and tips along with updates on devices that run the Android OS.
